Below are my three images of my favorite place on campus. I picked Mirror Lake because I find it to be peaceful and I like to see wildlife. Since it is water a there are a lot of different animals around the area like ducks, birds, and squirrels. In my first image I wanted to make it look relaxing so I added a pillow and blanket on the bench. I also added the first book in the Hunger Games series because I like to read and that is the book I am currently reading. I fell that I was really able to capture the peacefulness because I made it look comfortable and homey. I also really like to swim so in all the images I made it look like there are pool lines and I also made it look a little more desirable to swim in. On the left side you see a green beach ball in the distance. This brings me to my second image which is of a different view of the lake. I like to lay out and tan so I wanted to show that in "my spot" as well. What better place to lay out then around water? You can see the beach ball floating in the water and then on the bank I put a towel and suntan lotion. I also like that you can see some ducks on the bank which captures some of the wildlife that live around Mirror Lake. This view also shows peacefulness in laying out and just relaxing. In the far distance there are two small images of my dogs. This brings me to my final view of Mirror lake. My dogs are like my kids so I couldn't imagine "my spot" without them. They really like to swim and be lazy as well so one of them is in the water and one is laying on the bank. Again the pool lines are present so it looks better for swimming in. Also, you can see the ball in the distance which I added to show that I also like to play pool games and not just sit around. I wouldn't want a huge crowd of people in and around my "Mirror Pool" place but I would want my friends to be able to come and go as they please.
