I really enjoyed this project! One thing that was the same for both sets of pictures was that I picked things that would make a good picture and not just shoot random things. Also, I tried to take pictures of things that had some sort of meaning behind them. Something that was different between the two sets of pictures is that for the second set I actually thought more about what I was taking pictures of. Also, I took multiple pictures of the same thing so that I could choose which one I liked best. For the first set of pictures I just took one picture of the objects so I could get it done. I like that I had to think more about taking pictures and I feel that the pictures had more meaning behind them. I also like that it helped me be more creative and really think outside the box as to what I could do for my pictures.
I would have to say that the second set of pictures was more enjoyable for me. I feel this way because I really thought hard about what I could do for the pictures and it made me be more creative. The first set of pictures was just something I wanted to get done right away and didn't think too much about what I was taking pictures of. Although I did try to have meaning behind all twenty of my pictures I feel that the second set of ten had more meaning.
My favorite images are numbers 4, 6, 9, and 10 of the second set of images. I like picture number 4 because I didn't just want to do a picture of someone standing there with things around them, I wanted the picture to tell a story. I took a lot of pictures for this but I liked this one the best because it has a chaotic feeling about it. The dogs are all over the place and my cousin is confused and trying to hold on as best he could. Also, I feel like this picture describes my life in a weird way, even though I am not even in it. This is because I feel like my life is all over the place right now! I like picture 6 because I messed around a lot with the focus to get this shot and I felt like it was most important to focus on right in front which is what I feel like an ant would be focusing on. Also, I liked being outside and flipping the camera around to get the shot, I think it came out great! Picture 9 is of my two dogs and I really think it came out good. I was trying for the longest time to get them to both look at the camera at the same time and that wasn't working. I tilted the camera so it was unstable but I also feel it is unstable in the sense that the dogs are looking in different directions showing that A lot was probably going on in the background. For picture 10 I think I like the meaning behind it more so then the picture itself. I never usually go by my full name Jennifer so I shorten it to Jenn which is the beginning of this buildings name. But not only is my name in the picture, Jennings Hall is also the Zoology building which is my major and I have had many classes and spent a lot of time in this building. Overall I had a really fun time with this project and look forward to the projects ahead! =)
