Video Project

Here is the link of the video Mike and I edited.

This was a rather cool project I thought. In the first part there were guys on that machine spraying/cleaning off that front entrance of the shoe. We made the video look like it had gotten wet to add to what was happening. Then we got down to Olentangy River and found some geese to video, nothing special. Then when we were taping the geese in the water the empty bottle floated by. I thought that was cool that we captured that because it shows that, even though nature is beautiful, humans dominate over everything. It just seemed so peaceful and then garbage floats by. Then as I was taping the river alone I heard a russell in the bushes and it startled me a bit but when I looked over it was a Robin collecting twigs for her nest. I thought it was cool to be able to capture that because I probably startled her more than she startled me. Then there were just a couple clips of people running/biking on the trail. The third clip with the two guys is what really stands out though. When we were just walking and videotaping we did not notice that the one guy was holding the other guys arm while they ran. Once we started editing we saw that and wondered if the guy was blind or what. So we reversed the clip which I think gives the effect that something is different. We also put the clip in black and white to help with the effect. Then the last part is a guy directing traffic around construction. Campus is full of construction so I thought this was good to capture in the video.
