When I was reading this article I figured the guy in the story would end up liking the blind man because he kept going on and on about how there was a blind man coming to his house. He was putting this guy down before he even met him! I guess what I thought would happen did because he ended up understanding the blind man. I liked at the end when he kept his eyes closed and just pictured it in his mind, I'm assuming anyways. Relating this to art I believe that our minds are art. The blind man would have to just imagine everything he hears and learns about because he doesn't actually know what it looks like. I never really thought about it before, how blind people have to come up with their own interpretations of what things look like. Also, I believe it is different if you are born blind and if you go blind at some point in your life.
Something I didn't like about this article was the repetition. I just felt like the author would say the same thing over and over like, "She wanted," "She said," she, she, she! Actually, I didn't really like the article that much at all. I kept losing interest and finding myself not paying attention to what I was reading. I think it was the way it was written though because the story itself has a good meaning. Had this story been written better I would have enjoyed it more, the writing style just threw me off. Not a bad meaning in the story though
